My high school friends were my partners in crime. High school was a drag and my best grades were C's and D's. I looked forward to gym class. There were girlfriends and only one puppy love, but it didn't last long. There was, of course music, and I loved rock and roll, and the blues got me started--like the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Muddy Waters and Albert King. Then, there were the Kinks, the Birds, Country Joe and the fish, the Grateful Dead and the Mamas and Papas.
