At the sprawling summer home of my grandparents in Sister Bay, Wisconsin, again on my fathers side of the family. I became intrigued by the money that could be had from the sheer luck of a win over my fellow peers just down the shoreline. I remember running through the dark dense woods of birch and pine, which separated the summer homes, elated beyond words, understanding I personally had something to do with the $12.50 win.
